This Privacy Policy describes how Try On ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use our Chrome Extension and associated web application.

1. Information We Collect

We only collect data strictly necessary to provide the Virtual Try-On functionality:

• User-Provided Images (Biometrics): Photos of yourself that you explicitly capture via webcam or upload to create your profile. This is used solely to generate the try-on visualization.
• Website Content (Shopping Data): When you click the "Try On" or "Add to Wardrobe" buttons on a third-party e-commerce website, we collect the image URL of the clothing item and the product page URL to process the try-on request. We do not passively track your browsing history.
• Account Information: If you create an account, we store your email address for authentication purposes via Supabase.

2. How We Use Your Information

• AI Processing: Your photo and the clothing images are processed using Artificial Intelligence models (Google Gemini API) to generate the output image.
• Storage: Your generated images and wardrobe items are stored in your private database entries to allow you to access them later.
• Service Improvement: We monitor aggregate usage (e.g., number of try-ons generated) to prevent abuse and manage API quotas.

3. Third-Party Services

We utilize trusted third-party services to operate:

• Google Gemini API: Used for image analysis and generation. Data sent to the API is used for the requested generation task.
• Supabase: Used for secure authentication, database, and file storage.

4. Chrome Extension Permissions

Our extension requires specific permissions to function:

• ActiveTab & Host Permissions ("All URLs"): Required to detect product images on the shopping websites you visit and inject the "Try On" button overlay. We only read the DOM of the page to find images; we do not store your browsing history.
• Context Menus: Required to add the "Try On" option to the right-click menu.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

You have full control over your data. You can delete any clothing item, saved outfit, or your biometric profile photo directly within the application interface. Upon deletion, the data is removed from our storage.
